There are regular bus services which, with a simple transfer, allow you to get to Salamanca from any Spanish or European city. You can also call the following number: +34 902 02 09 99. Ticket sales and timetables are available on the Avanza Bus web page: at regular ticket counters and inside the airport itself, the Viajes de El Corte Inglés travel agency, located on the first of the Terminal building. The Madrid-Barajas bus stop is located at Terminal 1, in the car park opposite the arrivals lounge. If you decide to take the bus, there is a bus line run by Avanza Bus (Avanza Bus), which provides a direct service between Madrid-Barajas Airport and Salamanca. If you are travelling from Madrid, you need to take the A-50. If travelling by car, the A-62 and A-66 take you straight to the city. If you are coming from Portugal or France, you can also get here on the bus or train. The journey from Madrid to Salamanca takes approximately two hours. If you are coming from abroad, the easiest way is to fly to Madrid (Madrid-Barajas Airport), and then take the bus (Avanza Bus) or the train (RENFE), both of which provide frequent services.
